➡️ Why You’re Still Anxious Even When You’re Doing All the “Right” Things… midlife genx

Hi Reader! I took the summer off from posting and emailing. I hope you’re doing well and are getting ready to enjoy the warmth and harvest of September :) 🍇 (don’t rush into fall if you don’t want to) 😊 I like to savor this season. Preferably in Italy lol.

Today’s share is a video lesson I made on Why You’re Still Anxious Even When You’re Doing All the “Right” Things…

I know many of us highly sensitive women can wind up anxious, burnt out, sad, overwhelmed and second-guessing herself… If this sounds familiar, this one is for you.

I recorded this 15-minute lesson because I want you to understand something important about the way good change actually sticks

…There are LAYERS.

We can change behaviors yes. We can change beliefs. We can change identity.

And sometimes, we need to go even deeper — into the cultural, ancestral, and karmic layers that may be influencing what we carry.

When we only treat the symptoms, change is temporary. But when we work at the root?

👉 You can behave differently without having to constantly remind yourself to behave differently.

And that kind of change, is the kind of change I’m interested in.

The kind that gives you more Freedom. More Joy. More Trust in Yourself.

In the lesson linked in the YouTube video above (and here), I give you a little taste of how I work with clients — including some of the exercises and embodied tools we use to create lasting shifts.

If you’re tired of simply managing anxiety and overwhelm and you’re ready to understand what’s happening underneath it… Come listen.

See if you recognize yourself here 🤍

P.S. Watch it here.

"This is the most impactful work I’ve ever done.

We identified and recalibrated long-standing patterns — personal and generational — that were quietly influencing my marriage, my parenting, and my leadership.

My income has doubled! My marriage is stronger, my time with my children is more present, I have grounded friendships, and the anxious self-talk that once ran in the background is no longer in control. I have a level of internal steadiness I never had before.

This was the most decisive investment I’ve ever made in myself. I cannot imagine navigating my life from my former baseline. -Gretchen C., KS (Business Owner + Mama)

I forgive Reader. I forgive. And it has made me freer than I ever imagined. But forgiveness does not mean that I give indiscriminately anymore. For years, I confused the two. I thought being loving meant endless chances. I thought being compassionate meant endless understanding. I thought being kind meant endless access. It doesn’t. Today I forgive more easily than I ever have. And I am more selective than I have ever been. I forgive Reader. But I don’t ignore patterns. I forgive. But I don’t...

This may sound controversial Reader, but hear me out — Hope is NOT the vibe. Stop hoping. (Or at least stop living there.) Here’s why: Because we can get stuck in hope as if it were the destination. And for many women, hope becomes a hiding place. “I hope things get better.” ”I hope this is just a rough patch.” “I hope this relationship changes.” “I hope I stop feeling this way.” “I hope I find myself again.” Hope alone keeps you waiting. I’ve learned a lot through grief, loss, healing,...

Hi Reader, Today I’m sharing an insight from Dante's Inferno that stopped me in my tracks. In the Inferno, Dante encounters a sinner in Hell whom he knows is still alive on earth. Confused, he asks how this is possible. The sinner explains that after committing treachery, his soul fell straight into Hell while his body remained on earth, animated by something else. That image stopped me in my tracks and helped me understand something I’ve spent decades studying: Not all evil arrives looking...
